The association was organized to get the shipmates, spouses or children in contact with friends from long ago.

There are thousands of organizations, each with a specific purpose or goal. There are so many reasons why one should consider becoming part of the USS Point Cruz Association. We get together each year with a ships reunion to renew old friendships, tell war stories (True or Not. After so many years who remembers?) or just to have fun.
